1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Lybernet website and all related services, including the digital library, the study room, donations and career applications. By using the site you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use this website. Administrative accounts are issued by Lybernet only; public registration is not offered. You are responsible for keeping any credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under them.

3. Digital products and licence

Titles purchased from the library are digital goods delivered electronically. On successful payment verification you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to read and use the material for your own learning or internal business purposes.

You may not resell, sublicense, publish, distribute, upload to file-sharing services, or remove copyright notices from any purchased material. Bulk or team licences are available on request through the contact page.

4. Pricing and payments

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are made through UPI: you pay from your own payment application using the displayed QR code or UPI ID and then submit the transaction reference (UTR) for verification.

We never ask for your card number, UPI PIN, OTP or bank password. An order is confirmed only after we verify the reference against the received payment; unverified or mismatched references may be cancelled.

5. Delivery

Digital products are delivered by email or secure download link to the address provided at checkout, normally within 24 hours of payment verification. If you have not received your order in that window, contact us with your payment reference and we will resolve it.

6. Refunds and cancellations

Because our products are digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final once access has been provided. We will issue a full refund where a duplicate payment was made, where payment was taken but the product was never delivered, or where the delivered file is corrupted and cannot be replaced.

Refund requests must be raised within 7 days of the transaction through the contact page, quoting the payment reference. Approved refunds are returned to the originating UPI account within 7 to 10 business days.

7. Donations

Donations support our open-source work, the library and the free lecture tracks. Donations are voluntary, are not a purchase of goods or services, and are non-refundable except in the case of a demonstrable duplicate or erroneous transaction.

8. Study room and third-party content

Study room lectures are embedded from third-party platforms and are provided free of charge for educational purposes. Availability of that content is outside our control and may change or be withdrawn at any time.

9. Careers and submissions

By submitting an application or résumé you confirm that the information provided is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Submissions are reviewed only for recruitment purposes. Unsolicited ideas or materials sent to us may be used without obligation or compensation.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt unauthorised access to any part of the website or its infrastructure, probe or scan for vulnerabilities without written permission, scrape content at scale, upload malware, impersonate others, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, design, graphics, logos, code and publications — is owned by Lybernet or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law, except where explicitly released under an open-source licence, in which case that licence governs.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Educational and technical material is offered for general information and does not constitute professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lybernet is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.

13. Changes and termination

We may modify these terms, our pricing or our services at any time. Updated terms take effect when published on this page. We may suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches these terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
